Hello, my name is Anna and I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Maroochydore on the Sunshine Coast.
I have a warm and compassionate manner, and an appreciation for the complexities that life can throw our way. I have great respect for the courage involved in seeking support and aim to provide a non-judgemental space where you can safely explore what's on your mind.
I have worked as a psychologist in community health, private hospitals and private practice settings. I work with a range of mental health presentations, and have a particular interest in relationship & attachment difficulties, self-esteem, trauma, grief & loss and neurodivergence.
I also have experience working in private hospital settings with individuals who have received diagnoses such as Bipolar Affective Disorder (BPAD), Alcohol misuse/addiction and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In my honours and masters research dissertations I explored young adults' perceptions of the 'red flags' or warning signs of unhealthy, potentially abusive, behaviours in intimate relationships and how they navigate these.
Prior to becoming a psychologist, I spent twelve years in large international organisations designing and facilitating leadership, change and sustainability programs. I have lived and worked in the Netherlands, Hungary and the United Kingdom, and am now settled on the Sunshine Coast with my family.
